Every year I teach I am still amazed at how lucky I am to have this wonderful job that I love to do each day. I am so thankful for the opportunities I have every day with your children. They teach me so much about life and myself, and for that I am forever thankful. I am thankful for working with parents like you. You complete reading homework, fill out reading logs, keep up with your child's behavior, read my newsletters, participate in every school fundraiser you can, send in items for projects, buy materials for our class, make food and goodies for special events, attend parent conferences....the list could go on and on. And I want you to know, I am thankful for everything you do. You make my job even more fun (and also easier!) Because without all of you, I would never be able to do all that we do in our class. So thank you parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, guardians, and friends. You guys rock.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Enjoy some pictures below from our traditions feast. We had so many different dishes brought in from your homes, and it was so special to be part of your family traditions. (And the food was delicious!) we also made our own butter for the rolls and stuffing. This goes along with our past and present unit in Social Studies.
Enjoy the holiday with your family!
