We had a great day today! We read Cookie's Week and It's Okay To Be Different. We also went to centers, and we signed our class rules to show that we will promise to follow these rules at school!
Kennedy explored the square tiles today during Math Workshop. She noticed that they were all squares, but they were different colors. She decided to sort by color. We had a wonderful Monday today! We had fun working in our centers, and we were explorers during math today! The students explored different math manipulatives in order to get ready for our Math Workshop this year. We had a great day together as our whole class! We had fun getting to know our school family. We went to centers, we ate lunch, we read a story about a monster that went to school, and we drew a picture of a monster! It was Madison's birthday! Happy Birthday Madison! Our second half of the class came today, and it was wonderful! We had a great time learning the rules, meeting our school family, reading The Kissing Hand, and playing on the playground. We cannot wait to meet everyone all together tomorrow! We are having a great first day of school! We have toured the school, introduced ourselves, learned school procedures, and we read The Kissing Hand! We cannot wait to see everyone on Friday!
